About US
We started Carbon Zero – a family-owned, green, organic lawn care business – because we care about the environment and want to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
As long-time residents of the Columbus, Ohio area, with teenage children and many friends in the community, we wanted to improve the world in a way that’s both local and global. Our concern for the health of current and future generations led us to consider a business that could significantly reduce the deadly poisons going into our soil, water, and air.
We became more and more excited as our business plan took shape, realizing that we could create a comprehensive system to deliver safe and effective lawn and yard care with a carbon neutral footprint. We’re still excited about providing our pollution free services to you, so that you can have a yard that’s safe for your children and pets ... a beautiful yard without the pollution generated by gas lawn mowers or the toxic chemicals from fertilizers that runoff into our Ohio lakes and streams.
We have actively sought out organic business partners with the same philosophy. Check out our Partners in Green. We find it inspiring to continually discover companies that functioned as carbon neutral even before it was fashionable.
As an added bonus, we realized that Carbon Zero Lawn Care can promote awareness about climate change and pollution and show others that one community, one family, one person really can make a difference.
With that in mind, we’ll strive to become a trusted source for local, national, and global environmental information. Check out Our Values for more information about our services and philosophy. Enjoy For Fun, our factoid page for kids of all ages, and be sure to read the CZ Eco-Blog every week or so for fascinating environmental news and helpful tips for a green lifestyle.
